Youth Against Hunger Thanksgiving Bread Fundraiser and Food Drive
Fairfax, Virginia
In November 2024, SK Foundation supported Youth Against Hunger in their annual Thanksgiving food drive.
Youth Against Hunger is a small nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity in our community. This Thanksgiving, they are hosting a Bread Fundraiser and Food Drive to support local food banks and homeless shelters. By purchasing fresh-baked yeast rolls, pumpkin muffins, or honey butter, you directly contribute to this cause. Orders are open until November 26th, with pickup on November 27th in Fairfax Station, VA. Delivery is available for $10. Additionally, you can drop off non-perishable food donations during the pickup event.

Sri Ramakrishna Hospitals
Tamil Nadu, India
In February 2024, SK Foundation supported the family of Aathvik Nikilan, a resilient four-month-old who recently embarked on a challenging journey of healing. Born with a significant ventricular septal defect (VSD) and severe pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), Baby Aathvik urgently required open heart surgery at Sri Ramakrishna Hospitals on February 5th, 2024.
Despite the valiant efforts of the medical team, the financial burden associated with such extensive treatment threatened to overshadow Baby Aathvik's path to recovery. Through the unwavering support of compassionate donors and community members, we were able to offset the remaining medical expenses and ensure that Baby Aathvik receives the comprehensive care he urgently requires.
